In this study, microwave assisted magnetization switching experiment on Co/Pt perpendicular nanodot array as small as 50 nm in diameter is investigated. The reduction of the switching field as well as the critical frequency for the microwave assistance effect is clearly observed with increasing the rf field. This switching behavior is almost similar to that of the single macrospin simulation results and is well explained by the Stoner-Wohlfarth model in the rotating frame. |
