In recent years, the artificial medium called a metamaterial which shows the characteristic features which there is not in the nature is researched. In particular, the medium which has negative index of refraction is widely researched. Many metamaterials which has a negative refractive index is realized by a periodical structure. This medium contribute to the miniaturization of the antenna and the high efficiency of the lens. The medium which has negative index of refraction has both the negative permittivity and the negative permeability. In this paper, the structure with the broadband negative permeability frequency range is developed. |
