In general pattern recognition for acoustic signals, a single spectrum pattern is used as feature vector in many cases. However it is better to use the structure of spectrum patterns for the acoustic signal processing. In this study, the multi-resolution structure of acoustic signals are generated using the multi-resolution SOM. Experimental results show that the proposed method can successfully structuralize the input acoustic signal as a multi-resolution spectrum patterns. |
