A Study of QoS Control Using WFQ

(in English) The Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011,a congestion state that exceeds the capacity of the communication network occurred over a relatively long period of time in a wide range. In the emergency as described above, urgent service class is treated as an absolute priority even if control is performed for each service. For this reason,the following classes it will be difficult to increase communication and the highest class. In this paper, we propose two methods of Control using only the WFQ and QoS control with PQ and WFQ queue management on the output side of the router on the Diffserv there. Specifically , we propose a method that the lower packet is sent even if the higher packet is concentrated. In addition,with the PQ, the lower class is difficult packet sent. So We propose a new control scheme to combine double WFQ, to ensure the bandwidth of lower class as well, while maintaining some of the priority of highest class.
