UWB-IR QPSK Using Time Delay of RZ Optical Pulses

(in English) We propose the phase modulation of UWB-IR by pulse position modulation of RZ optical pulses. And we show the phase modulation can be possible by adding time delay corresponds to the frequency for down-conversion. We examine the receive processing with twice down-conversion to decrease interference of orthogonal signals. We show UWB-IR QPSK with symbol rate 3.3 Gs/s is possible, as a result of a simulation.
