The LTE technology can provide higher bitrate of mobile internet than 3G and helps generating huge amount of data packets which are transferred in the mobile network. Mobile careers installed lots of WLAN access points for offloading those data packets, however they cause the collision of WLAN radio resource and the degradation of QoS. As a result, there are cases that the QoS of LTE are better than WLAN. Thus there is no merit to use WLAN access points if it can’t provide the excellent network access to mobile devices. Furthermore the number of mobile routers which connect devices to the internet through mobile device’s LTE will be gradually increasing. That function of mobile router becomes popular today and more collisions are occurred so often. In this paper, we present the WLAN access point’s collaboration method. At first, one WLAN access point collects the information of its neighborhood WLAN access points and signal levels. After that it makes the plan to rearrange these WLAN access point’s radio channel configurations and transfer some WLAN access point’s services to other WLAN access points for saving radio resource and applies them to neighbors. |
