For implementing ASF & SSF in NGN, consideration should be given to executing multiple services on the same server. To prevent occupying resource of the server by some service, it is required to guarantee the minimum amount of resource available to each service and also to permit the use of resource beyond the guaranteed value. In this paper, considering the resource as CPU, we propose a per-service resource control mechanism, which enables guaranteeing a lower limit of CPU usage of each service and effectively utilizing CPU. |
