A time-saving technique and its FPGA implementation for listening to long-time speech

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Today, anyone can get a large amount of audio/video contents in a short
time. Thus, time-saving techniques have been getting attention.

Within this context, we have been proposed several algorithms which try
to saving times when viewing/listening contents.

However, in a case doing experiment with many parameters, there are
some inefficient points due to workstation implementation.

So, we designed and implemented an experimental system that can run the
LOLA method based on the TSM (time scale modification).

In this paper, we expound the LOLA method firstly and report obtained
knowledge about FPGA implemented system in the last half.
