MILP Optimazation Problem for Scheduling of Home Electrical Appliances in Smart Houses

(in English) Recently, due to the stop of the nuclear power plant operations, the shortage of electric power and the increase of electricity prices have become big problems.
The technologies of Smart house have gotten great attention to reduce power consumption.
Smart houses can reduce the power consumption and electricity costs by optimizing operating times of electric home appliances and supplying power from the power storage system such as electrical vehicle (EV).
In this paper, we formulate a mixed integer liner programming (MILP) to minimize electricity costs in Smart houses. We evaluate our proposed MILP from a view point of electricity cost in the following cases; optimizing operating times, not optimizing operating times, using EV and not using EV, and show effectiveness of our formulation.
