Reconstruction-based super resolution by anisotropic diffusion constraint and total variation regularization

(in English) This paper presents novel reconstruction-based super resolution method by anisotropic diffusion constraint and texture-adaptive total variation. In the proposed method, the anisotropic diffusion constraint removes jaggy artifacts by reducing high-frequency component edges in SR images. The texture-adaptive total variation regularization ensures to reduce over-smoothing effect within texture-region, while keeping smoothness within the texture-less region. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms previous methods in terms both PSNR and SSIM.
