Theoretical Performance Analysis of Hybrid Additive-Multiplicative Watermarking
Seigo Ikeda, Maki Yoshida, Toru Fujiwara (Osaka Univ.) EMM2012-104
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) An important issue of robust watermarking for image is to achieve a better tradeoff between the quality of watermarked image and the accuracy of watermark detection. We have presented a hybrid method of additive and multiplicative schemes that provides better performance than both additive and multiplicative schemes for some test images under the assumption that the host signal follows the generalized Gaussian distribution. In this paper, we prove that the performance of the proposed hybrid scheme is better than both additive and multiplicative ones for any image under the same assumption.
