In this paper, we develop a method for constructing the mean boundary curve of anatomical objects by using anatomical landmarks. First, regarding landmarks as a corner point, we split boundary curve into parts. Next, we compute optimum contour correspondences based on Dynamic Programming (DP) matching, and then, we define mean boundary curve by means of variational registration method with corresponding pointsets. We evaluated the effectiveness of our method for local deformation of complicated shape. |
