Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI) has been conducting research and development about Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS).
We designed and developed a GBAS prototype system by 2010, and installed at Kansai International Airport (KIX) in late 2010.
So far, we have conducted long-term stability evaluation and flight evaluation.
This papar describes evaluation results of GLS (GBAS Landing System) flight data on flight experiments of the GBAS prototype by Boeing 787 equiped with a GLS receiver as a statndard in cooperation with All NipponAirways (ANA) and Japan Airlines (JAL) in October 2011 and April 2012. |
