A study on effect of EMT-CT registration using multiple magnetic sensors in bronchoscope navigation

(in English) This paper discusses the effect of EMT-CT registration using multiple magnetic sensors in bronchoscope navigation.In this paper, we propose "average-of-two-points method", "average-of-three-points method" and "circle-centre method" which use two or three magnetic sensors for estimating the center of the bronchoscope. The comparison and verification with the conventional method using only a single sensor are conducted. For registration accuracy and convergence time, it was improved to 4.79mm and 45 seconds of the average-of-two-points method, and 2.89mm and 35 seconds of the average-of-three-points method from the conventional 5.35 mm and 60 seconds. For ``circle-centre method", jitter error of the sensors is strongly reflected on the estimation result so that it is comfirmed useless.
