| (in English) | In the autumn of 2012, the author had the honor of being given IEICE Fellow for contributions to image understanding and computer vision for the analysis of deformable objects. The research subject, ”Automatic analysis of stomach X-ray images for mass screening” was just given at the beginning of the author’s career and has been expanded to ”integrated analysis of several types of X-ray images with the consideration of large deformation of stomach (breast) ”. As a memorial talk, the history on how it evolved is introduced. |
