[Poster Presentation] Study on the Four-Dimensional Dose Distribution Calculation in Consideration of Moving Modeling

(in English) Recently, four-dimensional (4D) radiotherapy techniques have been developed to address this organ motion. For 4D radiotherapy, treatment planning is necessary to evaluate the dose distribution for each breathing phase, that is “4D dose distribution”. 4D dose distribution calculated using deformation fields. However, the change in the shape of lungs due to breathing usually shows the nonlinear viscoelastic deformation. Therefore, some errors may be occurred between calculated dose and actual irradiated dose. The aim of this study is to improve an accuracy of 4D dose calculation by density change before and after the deformation.
