In the 21st century, the importance of the kansei value has become recognized. However, not many studies have focused on “kawaii” as a kansei value. Then, we continue to research “kawaii” as a kansei value for physical attributes of artificial products. We have already performed some experiments on such as kawaii shapes and kawaii colors. We also introduced our trial, in which we dealt with combinations of attributes, that is colors and patterns, and applied them to an actual product, ribbon using questionnaire system on the web in the last symposium. This article describes the results of basic experiment on “Kawaii Perception of Matrials” using materials for tactile display corresponding with onomatopoeia, clarifying the phonic features of onomatopoeia with materials evaluated as “kawaii.” |
