[Poster Presentation] Generation Algorithm of Target trace points for platoon

(in English) In modern society, vehicles are convenient and useful as a means of transportation, that contributes to the development of economic activities. The development of automobile society, however, has caused traffic jam, environmental pollution and traffic accidents. To solve these problems, automatic driving has been attracting attention in the ITS. The authors have developed Vehicular Collision Avoidance Support System (VCASS) in order to prevent collisions between vehicles. In addition, we have considered a simple type automatic driving system which attaches dynamic lane keeping control to the collision avoidance function of VCASS. This System is called the Virtual Road Generating Algorithm(VRG). In this paper, we propose Generation Algorithm of Target trace points(GAT) to solve the problem in VRG. By using this method, it is possible to configure a platoon with general vehicles. We show the effectiveness of the algorithm by experiments using some cars.
