A Mosaic processing scheme for JPEG images using reversible watermarking

(in English) In a security camera, photographing images, such as a person, occurs privacy issues.We can think to hide the face with mosaic when a picture is taken, however mosaic must be removed to investigate when the crimes occurred. In this paper, we propose a mosaic processing scheme for JPEG images using reversible watermarking. Our mosaic processing is performed in the process of JPEG compression, and information required for mosaic removal is embedded in JPEG image by using reversible watermarking. Our scheme makes it possible that PSNR is 30 dB at Q=90 when watermark information is embedded to the practical big images, and it has usability.
