A study of MIMO Channel Property with movement in LOS and NLOS Paths -- Dependence of Correlation on Antenna Configuration --

(in English) In multi-path with and without a directive wave, an antenna configuration of MIMO system was evaluated by using cumulative distribution of correlation coefficient between MIMO channel matrix elements by computer simulation, while moving with a random direction in a sell. The configuration are TxRx=22 with line and 44 with line (ULA) and square, then assuming that the angles of radiating and arriving waves have a uniform distribution. The cumulative distribution shows the following as; i) Those correlations are distributed widely around 0 to 1. ii) When TxRx=22 with line in without a directive wave, the cumulative value 50% depends strongly on one-side correlation due to a small number of MIMO channel. iii) The correlation of TxRx= 44 with line has a good distribution due to the appearance of wider space between antenna elements. iv) With a directive wave, the cumulative value 50% depends on Rice factor k, and then becomes higher value than k/(k+1).
