The problem of recovering sparse signals is an important topic in machine learning and compressed sensing literatures.
Among many algorithms, so-called \emph{reweighted $\ell_{1}$ minimization algorithm} has been shown to be more effective than conventional $\ell_{1}$ minimization.
In this study, we introduce an optimization method called \emph{parametric programming} (a.k.a. path-following) in order to develop a more efficient alternative to existing implementation of the reweighted $\ell_{1}$ minimization algorithm.
We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through simple numerical experiment. |
