This disquisition is written about moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method applied to the numerical analysis of scalar wave motions. The propagation characteristics of sound waves calculated by MPS method were agreed well to the analytical predictions. Also the stability conditions and the dispersion characteristics were investigated. |
