Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The purpose of this study is develop teaching method based on acoustic
features of singing voices. We have examined the acoustic features
differences and psychological impression about some singing voices with
various skill levels. In this paper, we discuss the relationship between
acoustic features and levels of proficiency. As acoustic features, we
measured power level, sharpness of singer's formant, and duration /
amplitude / frequency of vibrato of the singing voices. Also, we
extracted two factors suitable for singing voices evaluation by using
semantic differential method, as psychological impression evaluation. In
addition, an experimental vocal lesson for some beginners was executed. We
compared the changes of acoustic features of singing voices in pre-test and
post-test. Then, based on these results, we consider the relationship
between acoustic features and the skill levels of singers.
