Comparative Study of Open-Loop Transmit Diversity Schemes with Four Antennas Using Selection Transmit Diversity for DFT-Precoded OFDMA

(in English) This paper investigates average block error rate (BLER) performance of open-loop (OL) transmit diversity schemes using selection diversity with four antennas for Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT)-precoded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). More specifically, we investigate the average BLER performance level for a combination of space-time block code (STBC) and time switched transmit diversity (TSTD) focusing on the difference of the mapping method for FFT blocks after Alamouti coding. Moreover, we compare the BLER performance levels for STBC + TSTD schemes with that for a combination of STBC and Frequency Switched Transmit Diversity (FSTD) considering time domain selectivity and frequency domain selectivity in multipath fading channels.
