Dynamic lightpath establishment considering four wave mixing in multifiber WDM networks

(in English) This paper proposes a dynamic lightpath establishment scheme considering four wave mixing (FWM) in multifiber WDM networks. In WDM networks, transmission performance is decayed by nonlinear effects in optical fibers. The proposed scheme focuses on FWM which is one of such nonlinear effects. The proposed scheme selects routes, wavelengths, and fibers for lightpath establishment in such a way as to avoid generation of FWM. Furthermore, the route and wavelength selection of the proposed scheme also avoids blocking of lightpath establishment due to depletion of wavelength resources. In this paper, we show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through simulation experiments.
