This paper studies flexible particle swarm optimizer for multi-solution problems. The system is governed by deterministic difference equations without random parameter. Particles are potential solutions, which move in discrete space.
Our algorithm characterized by insensitive parameters and inter-particle collision.
They can prohibit un-necessary particles concentration and can give variety in the particles dynamics: that can be suitable for the multi-solution problems.
The algorithm efficiency is investigated in basic benchmarks and an exploring problem of periodic points in the IKEDA Map. |
