Sparse Superposition Codes with Bernoulli Dictionary

(in English) We study some extension of the sparse superposition codes proposed by Barron and Joseph in 2010. The original sparse superposition codes are designed using a dictionary of codewords which consists of real valued vectors. The codes are proved to achieve rate up to the capacity of the Gaussian channel, when entries of the dictionary are independently drawn from a normal distribution [Barron and Joseph 2010]. We prove that the codes achieve rate up to the capacity, even if entries of the dictionary are independent equiprobable $\pm$ 1 as conjectured by Barron and Joseph in 2010.
