Fairness with N rate N+1 color marking on layer-2 ring network

(in English) N rate N+1 color marking (NRN+1CM) is able to improve fairness of best effort traffic from subscribers in a cascade aggregation of layer-2 switches for an access network. However, it was assumed to be employed in a logical bus topology linked to one edge router. In realistic career networks, a layer-2 ring topology linked to multiple edge routers is general because the redundancy of equipments and paths is important.
This paper proposes a method to employ NRN+1CM in layer-2 ring networks.
The basic idea is to select a dropping threshold for preventing the over-discard of frames.
