Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper presents a real-time video stabilisation system using an FPGA. For hand-held motion picture camera in particular, we have to consider not only the system performance but also the system optimisation sych as space, weight, power and so on. The harmony of them is well-investigated in this paper and the stabilisation computation implemented on one FPGA works efficiently and properly without any sensors. The FPGA system captures 24-bit colour, 542-by-496-pixel-resolution images at 30 frames per second and removes screen movement for the video output within real time. It was successfully implemented and evaluated by the use of Xilinx XUPV5-LX110T
Evaluation Platform.
