(in English) The implementation of virtual auditory displays using loudspeakers typically requires filters that effectively cancel crosstalk components. This type of filtering block, known as a crosstalk canceller, should carefully consider the listeners' behavior. However, typical approaches assume a fixed listening position and posture, resulting in systems that are highly sensitive to the user's movements. Crosstalk canceller design must consider robustness to kinematic parameters, such as the listener's movement. Following on our previous research towards identifying the loudspeaker distributions that result in robust crosstalk cancellers, we now consider also the condition number in our evaluation. We conducted a series of computer simulations to evaluate the accuracy of crosstalk cancellation systems using various two-channel loudspeaker distributions and assessed their robustness to small head rotations. We conclude by identifying several distributions as being suitable candidates to implement robust crosstalk cancellers.
