Performance Analysis of BP Decoding for Physical-layer Network and LDPC Coded Signals

(in English) In this manuscript, the performance of belief propagation (BP) decoding is evaluated for physical-layer network coded signals with low density parity check (LDPC) codes in a two-way relay wireless channel. Physical-layer network coding (PNC) enables to improve throughput of wireless relaying in wireless distributed networks synchronized by coherent coordinated multi-point (CoMP). The CoMP-PNC scheme, in which precoding and LDPC codes are incorporated, is applied for two-way relay wireless channels with a single frequency band. The relay station receives a composite signal transmitted from two user stations simultaneously and it broadcasts the BP decoded, network coded signal to them. In this manuscript, the log-likelihood ratio (LLR) is presented for the practical quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) composite signals to perform BP decoding at the relay station.
