Intelligent Space Systems Laboratory (ISSL) University of Tokyo and National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) have developed a 35 kg astrometry satellite, “Nano-JASMINE” (Nano JAPAN Astrometry Satellite Mission for INfrared Exploration). The objective of the Nano-JASMINE mission is to measure three dimensional positions of stars to an accuracy of three milli-arc-seconds (mas) by performing the stellar parallax measurements. In the Nano-JASMINE mission, the spin rate of the satellite should be controlled to an accuracy of 4×10^(-7) rad/s during the observation. In ISSL, several researches have been conducted on the way how to accomplish such severe attitude stabilization. In this paper, some results of these researches are introduced. |
