The miniaturized antennas for X band down-links which is due to be carried in a small satellite "Hodoyoshi" have been investigated. Two kinds of antennas are examined, i.e. a “Middle-Gain Antenna” consisting of four micro strip antennas and an “Isoflux Antenna” by 4 line helical antenna. Small size, a light weight, high gain, the antenna directivity in consideration of communication pathway is required for a satellite. In this paper, the status of development of these antennas is presented. |
