Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In Virtual Reality (VR) world, it is possible to do operations which cannot be done in real world by body movements. In this paper, we investigated the mental model adopted when users control explosion by hand extension, and how to increase “Shikkuri” feelings defined as the feelings that arise when operations done in VR world get enough close to the mental model. The result of our experiment suggests that the mental model of the fictional phenomenon is adopted and “Shikkuri” feelings grow larger when magnitude of the feedback increases drastically in proportion to the speed of the body movements.
