Control of ESD Flashover Direction on Printed-wiring Board by Back Electrode

(in English) When the intrusion ESD in electronic Discharge, cause malfunction of the product or destruction of the semiconductor device. Protection circuit or ESD absorption device is used as an anti-ESD, but it might rise product costs or interfere with the high-density mounting. We have proposed a method to ESD discharges to ground pattern only in the wiring design. Moreover, we are trying to control of ESD Flashover direction by back electrode.
