(in English) Femtosecond laser processing with a computer-generated hologram displayed on a spatial light modulator, called holographic femtosecond laser processing, has the advantages of a high throughput and a high energy-use efficiency. In the sub-100 fs range, the generation of high-quality focal intensity distributions based on computer-generated holograms is problematic due to a wavelength dispersion originated from the large spectral bandwidth of the femtosecond pulse. The wavelength dispersion results in a deformed beam profile and a spatiotemporal spread of the optical energy at a workpiece that is unsuitable for precise and efficient laser processing. In this study, we demonstrated the holographic femtosecond laser processing system with double spatial light modulators that is capable of performing the wavelength dispersion compensation.
