[Poster Presentation] Heralded optical quantum gate assisted by path entanglement

(in English) Knill, Laflamme, Milburn found that scalable quantum computer could be built from heralded optical quantum gates. Heralded optical quantum gates provide the success signal of whether or not the operation succeeds, while it succeeds probabilistically. However, to build a nondestructive gate, usually ancillary photons are unavoidably required. We show that heralded optical quantum gates can be built by adding a path entanglement to non-heralded optical quantum gates.
