Social differential in community is one of serous problems in Japan.
Sometimes such social differentials propagate from parents to their
children or even to their grandchildren. To deal with such complicated
social systems having differentials scientifically, here we will extend
our probabilistic modeling of labor markets for university graduates
(which was already given by the present authors at NLP2011 Hirosaki \cite{Chen} etc.).
`Artificial' differentials in the number of informal acceptances
for employment are induced by taking into account the student's score.
In our modeling, each company getting entry sheets over the quota
selects talented persons among the candidates according to
the student's scores such as the grade point average (GPA).
We investigate the system parameter dependance of both micro- and
macroscopic quantities and reveal the condition on which the differentials
in the number of informal decisions emerges.
We numerically find that the so-called Gini index, which is a traditional
measurement of social differentials, with respect to acceptance ratio
($\equiv$ $\#$ of informal acceptances/$\#$ of entry sheets)
rapidly grows as the average number of entry sheets increases.
This situation implies that informal acceptances in the labor market
are `monopolized' by a small limited fraction of students
with relatively high scores. |
