| (in English) | Recently, researches on high-speed transport protocols aimed to achieve high throughput in long-distance broadband networks are done widely. However, when some flows with high-speed transport protocols coexist on a bottleneck link, total throughput may decrease, and the difference in throughput of each flow may increase, that is, a flow with specific protocol occupies bandwidth. Therefore, we propose a traffic control method with an attainment of fairness among high-speed protocol flows in long-distance broadband networks. Our proposed method calculates the allocated bandwidth by estimating a window size and round trip time per flow, and it also drops packets to adjust the window size to obtain the allocated bandwidth. We valuated the efficiency of our proposed method through simulations. As a result, we showed that it could allocate bandwidth fairly with retaining high throughput. |
