Recently, the S-parameter method using a vector network analyzer and a measurement jig instead of a balun has been proposed whereby the differential impedance of an input impedance of a balanced antenna can be found. When the length of the jig cannot be ignored compared with the wavelength, correcting the influence of the jig becomes important. In this report, to improve the measurement accuracy and to expand the frequency range of S-parameter method, the jig fabricated by the microstrip line that can be produced with high accuracy is examined. The input impedance of the dipole antenna is measured with the jig, and it is compared with measured value using the jig made of the semirigid cable and calculated value using the method of moment. |
