Application of Population-based Optimizers to Exploring the Maximum Power Point

(in English) This paper studies application of population-based optimizers to exploring maximum power points in potovoltaic systems.
As a simple example, we consider maximum power point in two dimensional multi-peak characteristics of solar cells connected in series.
We have applied basic optimizers to the example, and investigate the exploring function: the standard particle swarm optimizer can converge to the target quickly, however, it tends to be trapped into local optima; the ring-type particle swarm optimizer can escape from the local optima in several cases; and the differential evolution tends to have large diversity.
