| (in English) | In human natural movement, different body parts move in a coordinated manner so as to effectively fulfill the given task. Especially, it is often observed that motion of a certain body part precedes that of principal body parts (i.e., preparatory motion). The present study aims for constructing a system that can predict the content and timing of the principal body motion from its preparatory motion, making use of such temporal coordination of body parts (“predictive human interface”). Here, we report some results of the analysis of the temporal structure of body movements in the step-put movement and the performance of the system which predicts the direction and timing of the step-out movement based on the extracted temporal structure. | |
