An intermittent control model of human target tracking
Masato Tanaka, Tetsumasa Asano, Yutaka Sakaguchi (UEC) NC2011-142
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Non-continuous or intermittent velocity changes are often in human motor behavior, even in continuous visuo-manual tracking task. This suggests that some intermittent structure is involved in human motor control mechanism. The present study aims to explain the human motor behavior using a computational control model having intermittent structure. In the present report, we propose some possible control models and demonstrate their behavior using a computer simulated experiments.
