PageRank Based User-centric Content Delivery System
Yuji Yoshimura, Eiji Kamioka (SIT) MoMuC2011-56
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Spread of smartphones and high-speed mobile communication technologies have accelerated SNS and mobile content delivery services. In addition, user generated contents and real-time streaming services have extended the Internet content market. It is important to improve the information and communication infrastructure for high-definition content delivery services with enough service quality. However, any appropriate mechanisms to control quality of content delivery services, from the viewpoint of users, have not established yet. In this paper, a user-centric service-quality control scheme in video content delivery services will be proposed, in which a scoring parameter based on PageRank algorithm is introduced. Moreover, how to apply user’s sensitivity given by a content to the service-quality control and how to define QoE will be discussed.
