Iterative Time-Domain Overlap QRM-ML Block Signal Detection for Single Carrier Transmission without CP Insertion

(in English) Recently, we proposed a block signal detection using maximum likelihood detection (MLD) employing QR decomposition and M-algorithm which suppresses the IBI for the single carrier (SC) block transmissions without cyclic prefix (CP) insertion (overlap QRM-MLBD). Since overlap QRM-MLBD does not require CP insertion, it can improve the transmission efficiency than the conventional QRM-MLBD, however, the residual IBI limits the achievable performance. In this paper, we propose an iterative overlap QRM-MLBD in order to effectively suppress the residual IBI. A stopping criterion is also introduced to reduce the computational complexity. We evaluate the throughput performance by computer simulation to compare with the conventional QRM-MLBD.
