P2P-based Distribution Method for High Quality Multi-angle Video Streaming Exploiting Guaranteed/Best-effort Services

(in English) Recently, feasible researches on guaranteed network with optical path have been advanced. Based on the infrastructure, various services such as Ultra High Definition (UHD) and 3D video distribution will be widespread in near future. In multi-angle video distribution with existing systems, switching angle takes long time. The problem is critical because switching angle frequently occurs in the service. In this paper, we propose P2P-based UHD multi-angle video distribution method. This method enables to switch angle rapidly by distributing all angles together. Considering limited bandwidth, sub-angles are distributed with low resolution. We firstly discuss the distribution with sole best-effort or guaranteed network. Next, we propose two methods exploiting the above two networks for different purposes. Performance on the proposed methods is evaluated through computer simulation.
