Scattered pilot based OFDM can accuretely estimate the channel state information (CSI) with small number pilot signals under the fast fading channel. In OFDM, the guard interval (GI) is inserted in order to eliminate the inter-symbol-interference (ISI)and inter-carrier-interference (ICI) due multipath fading. In general, GI is usually designed to be longer than the delay spread of channel. Furthermore, the channel estimation of SP is property operated since data signals are assigned between scattered pilots. To overcome this problem, in this thesis, we propose the novel FFT interpolation method with considering the pilot cyclic property and ISI and ICI compensation method. In the proposed method, the time domain impulses are calculated by using FFT interpolation with null signal and the faraway responses by using the threshold of noise variance. In addition, we eliminate ISI and ICI using the identified CSI. From the simulation result, the proposed method can achieve superior BER performance compared with the conventional SP-OFDM under the large delay spread channels. |
