| (in English) | Do elderly people living alone really welcome existing services available for them? To get their point of view, we need to investigate issues and factors that elderly people feel in their daily life. Considering a diversity of elderly people, we limited our respondents to younger elderly people who can keep maintaining themselves, and conducted two interviews about their daily life. We found that the problem of elderly people living alone was loneliness and the factors that cause loneliness were “individual activity”, “interaction with friends”, and “mind for positive daily life”. Additionally, we identified that three factors; “understanding the distance of feeling between self and others”, “enjoying interaction with friends”, and “enjoying individual activity” would reduce their loneliness. | |
