| (in English) | In this paper, we propose a fragile watermarking scheme for image authentication. Generally, in image authentication, the quality of the watermarked image deteriorates with increasing watermark information because the watermarks must be embedded in all the pixels in order to enable detection of all the tampered pixels. Our proposed method will improve the watermarked image quality because the compressed watermarks are embedded with cyclic hamming code. Moreover, the method can correct the error of a bit unit, since the characteristic of each pixel is embedded dispersedly into the neighboring pixels by using cyclic hamming code and interleaving. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm produces an improved watermark image quality and has good performance for tamper detection and recovery against the about 50% tampered image. | |
