Study on RAKE Reception using Multicarrier Template Waveform in UWB-IR System

(in English) Frequency selective fading that is caused by the multipath becomes a problem in broad band communication like a UWB system. This paper discusses the RAKE reception technique by using the multi-carrier template waveform in the UWB-IR system to compensate the influence of multipath. The BER performance is improved, since the path having the largest power can be detected in each sub-band od multicarrier template waveform and the correlation values of the RAKE branches are combined.
